The Bull 3Have you ever thought that the thing you want to do in life, or that your gifted at, is something that nobody is interested in?

Perhaps you’ve lamented that “if only” you were a gifted computer programmer you could create the rival to Facebook, or “if only” you had a gift or talent that was useful, you could make a living at it?  So, you talk yourself out of doing it because, since nobody could possibly be interested in what you have to offer, there’s no point doing it.

The BustWho is this “nobody” you’re talking about?  I just Googled the world population, and there are over 7 BILLION people on this planet.  So, you are making one whopping prejudgment to assume that over 7 BILLION people do not want what you have to offer.  I’m sorry, but I do not believe that you have honestly contacted every one of the 7 BILLION people in existence and found out that they have no interest in your product or service, so could you please stop using this bullshit line of thinking as an excuse?

20140308-184809.jpgThe other day I went to Central Park and saw a man dipping string in a bucket of bubble fluid, creating bubbles.  Children watched, mesmerized.  Adults walked by, smiling.  Even making bubbles is something that will bring joy to people’s lives.

You’ll notice this gentleman has a TIPS bucket, too.  So, he’s making money doing something he enjoys, and which brings a smile to other people.

It’s time for you to start believing that the world needs what you love – and that by offering it, you are making someone’s day just a little bit (or maybe a whole lot) better.
